Putting Value First: Embedding Social and Environmental Value in the Built Environment

We are delighted to welcome Ellie Jenkins to introduce us to the Value Toolkit, that was relaunched by Constructing Excellence at their annual conference, in January.
This session explores the development and deployment of the Value Toolkit; a government-funded, industry-led initiative designed to transform decision-making in construction and infrastructure projects. Ellie Jenkins, Partner at Akerlof, will share lessons from the journey, insights on aligning policy and practice, and tools now available to embed social, environmental, and economic outcomes in the project lifecycle. With real-world case studies such as Network Rail, the talk will show how the Toolkit is helping clients define, measure and realise value beyond cost alone. Delegates will leave with actionable knowledge to integrate value-led thinking into their organisations.
