We are delighted to welcome AtkinsRéalis’ dedicated team of Soft Landings experts who will present innovative client case studies demonstrating how Soft Landings ensures buildings perform as intended from conception through to operation.

Soft Landings bridges the gap between conception and operation phases, enhancing user satisfaction and operational efficiency. Andrés, James, and Max have a proven track record of successfully implementing Soft Landings for several prominent public-sector clients. They will showcase examples from a range of organisations, highlighting the transformative impact that Soft Landings can have on projects.

The case studies will also touch on the natural integration of Soft Landings with services including NABERS UK, Post Occupancy Evaluation, BREEAM, and BIM.

Our Speakers

Andrés Puchades, Associate Director, AtkinsRéalis

Andrés Puchades is an Associate Director and a Subject Matter Expert in Soft Landings (SL). He has extensive experience leading numerous SL projects for Central Government clients. His work includes developing tailored and scalable SL frameworks that align with clients’ BIM, NABERS UK, BREEAM, and other client-specific standards. He is a qualified NABERS UK assessor.

James Garth, Consultant, AtkinsRéalis

James Garth is a Consultant specializing in Soft Landings (SL), has led on the delivery of SL for over 30 projects, ensuring seamless handovers and operational efficiency. His notable work includes implementing SL on dozens of complex MoJ prison and courthouse projects with challenging requirements, and effectively delivering SL for the first time on a UK Atomic Energy Authority project, creating efficiencies by enhancing end-user engagement.

Max Hoogers is a Graduate Consultant at AtkinsRéalis. He brings valuable BREEAM experience to his Soft Landings (SL) expertise, helping projects to define their sustainability objectives from the early stages. Max has successfully contributed to several public sector projects for both the MoJ and Home Office.
